Ok, I'm Going To This ...

... whether or not I am still coughing up new characters for "The Mucinex Expanded Universe."

I have no idea which one of my friends would also want to go, and I'm frankly enthusiastic about doing something by myself, but I'm just gonna throw this out here anyway:
SUN, MAR 15: Lizzie “Elizabeth” Skurnick reads from Check-in — which [Lauren Cerand] once bought a dozen copies of, and then resold them in ten minutes, it’s that good — on Sunday evening at KGB, along with John Reed and Amy Koppelman. 7PM, FREE.

90's Ska Band The Aquabats Have A TV Show Pilot

These guys were in my house briefly during my last year of college (2006) because they were friends with my roommate, Vic Ruggiero, of The Slackers. Scandinavian Cory Kennedy Doppelgänger

I don't really even know if this person who does the Polkadots & Vodkashots blog is from Scandinavia, but it doesn't matter. I feel creepy, lame and all around worse for having posted about it. Unless people come to this site after combing through their recent issue of NYLON looking for more clothing ideas. In which case, you're welcome, I guess.

Some meta-humor after Lisa makes a documentary about her family — displaying their dysfunctional behavior to all of Sundance:

Making T-Shirt Designs with Stencils, Bleach, Water and your Weak (ney, Paltry) Imagination

[Link 1 and Link 2 via Make]

This seems so cheap and easy and cool, but seriously ask yourself this: How much longer before stenciling on your own t-shirts goes the way of puffy paints, tie dye and airbrushing? (Which are all back now, right? uh, right!?)

The answer, isn't very long. So, listen to me: Stick to wearing Gunny Sacks. They're environmentally friendly, child safe, unisex and breath very well.
